What is Vision?

Who We are

Founded in 2020 by Jamie Elalouf and Chloé Hernandez in Montreal, VISION Dance Convention is an annual event dedicated to supporting Canadian dancers throughout their dance journey. We provide accessible, high-quality training through world-class workshops, industry insights, and valuable networking opportunities. VISION was created with the purpose of offering dance education to Canadian dancers at all levels, giving them the tools and skills needed to excel in their careers.

As Canada's up and coming hip-hop dance convention, we are dedicated to providing superior dance training to dancers of all ages across Canada, guided by the world's best choreographers and educators.

THe montreal weekend

Audition Class

Introducing a unique experience for advanced dancers: our exclusive Friday audition class. Led by a world-renowned international choreographer, this is not just a class—it's an opportunity like no other. Dancers who excel in this session will be selected for additional training and will have the chance to showcase this choreographer's number at the Vision Dance Showcase.

the workshops

2 Days and 8 workshops led by three international choreographers and two domestic instructors. These sessions are designed to help dancers develop and refine their skills, with options available in both intermediate and advanced levels across two separate rooms.

Additionally, there are two beginner workshops for kids scheduled on Saturday morning led by our local teachers.

the vantage point

The Vantage Point Battle is a street dance competition taking place on Saturday evening. This event provides dancers with the opportunity to either participate or observe, offering inspiration and showcasing talent. The battle aims to bridge the gap between the commercial and street dance worlds of hip-hop.

Capping off the weekend is the Vision Dance Showcase, a special evening dedicated to highlighting Montreal’s finest talent. Featuring a blend of local groups and performances by our staff, the showcase promises to leave dancers inspired and energized. It’s the perfect finale to a weekend of exceptional dance experiences.
